Not in the Mood

As it turns out, when it's January in the Salt Lake Valley, and it's cold, dark and so smoggy that breathing tastes bad, I'm not really in the mood for blogging. Not much seems interesting or worth reporting. Add to this the fact that Bundle's sleeping habits have gone so far off the deep end that I, despiser of crying it out, have started to let Bundle cry out her bed times and nap times. Middle of the night meals I am not yet up to facing, but the bed and nap times are tough enough as it is. Whoever said that it would all be over in three days has a different baby than I do, because today is day 6 or something and I just won't even tell you how long Bundle cried it out last night. I'll just say that it was bad and Troy and I have the "hit by a mack truck" syndrome this morning. She just keeps waking back up! This sucks.

Hopefully some happy blogging days will come my way. I am knitting again, which is my happy place. Also I got a new haircut, and that always does good for my soul. Perhaps I should try getting it cut more than once a year. I will post a picture later if Troy will take one of me. I'm going to go sit on the couch and close my eyes for 10 minutes before someone needs me again.

How's that for a VERY exciting entry.

My babies don't cry it out either....Cara just basically stops breathing because she's crying so hard. I can't let Siena cry it out...she never falls asleep..she just gets more and more and MORE worked up! And that's how it has always been. I definitely want to see pictures of your hair

Oh man! I remember those days! No fun at all! Hopefully she's just teething or something and she will feel well enough soon to get some good all-night sleep!

Your haircut is very cute. I love it. Also, sorry about all the waking up and crying. I don't know if you have had her checked for another ear infection but you might want to. That is what kept Hobbes up so much and once we got that solved we got the sleeping problem solved. Good luck.

So, I was one of those to say, "oh yeah, 3 nights and that's all it takes." Since little Holland came to us, that "fact" has now become a myth. These little stinkers, eh? I love your posts by the way. They bring me comfort knowing there is my cute Rachel out there who is feeling very much the way I do. Can't wait to see your new cut.

Also can't wait to see the haircut! I am sorry about Bundle. I wish I had great advice, but I don't. Lou never gave up on crying either and I finally gave in... then around a year she suddenly, magically started sleeping through the night.

Okay, doing some serious blog catch up: awesome mittens, agree with the true love. Your haircut is so so cute(!) and hang in there with Bundle. We had a similar phase with Megan. I remember sobbing along in my bed as we listened to her cry for unbearable lengths. It also took about a week (maybe more?) but then she did great after. Oh, that is so killer! I am sorry!
